Mission Statement
The mission of the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is to provide outstanding programs in oral health education, patient care, focused research and scholarship, and service that are of value to our constituents. We accomplish this in an environment that fosters collegiality and professionalism and that enables a diverse group of students to become competent oral health care providers and contribute to the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
Combined Degree Programs
- DMD/MPH
A five-year dual-degree program offered jointly with the School of Medicine, focused on dental public health and community leadership.
- DMD/MS in Clinical Research (MCRT)
A five-year track funded by the NIH (CRSP) designed to train dentist-scholars for careers in academia and clinical research.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) - Open to foreign-trained dentists; however, they must complete a CODA-accredited GPR or AEGD before applying to certain specialty tracks like Pediatric Dentistry.
