Mission Statement
The mission of the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona is to graduate well-qualified general dentists and to improve oral health through research, scholarly activity, and service to the public.
Combined Degree Programs
- DMD/MPH (Master of Public Health)
Available as a dual-track program for newly admitted or current first-year dental students; the MPH is delivered online.
- DMD/MS (Master of Science in Precision Medicine)
Listed as a dual-track option through the College of Graduate Studies.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- International Student Admissions - International students may apply to the traditional 4-year DMD program; however, CDMA-Arizona does not offer a specific Advanced Standing/International Dentist Program (IDP) like its Illinois sister campus.

Clinical Experiences
A 14-quarter (45-month) curriculum. D1 and D2 years focus on simulation clinic training, while D3 and D4 students work in pairs at the Midwestern University Dental Institute to provide comprehensive care.
Clinical Rotations:
- Community Clinical Rotations - Required rotations at community-based sites during the fourth year.
