Mission Statement
The DMD program strives to improve the oral health of the public with special attention to underserved individuals and families by educating dentists, conducting education and clinical research, and providing community-based health services and healthcare leadership.

Clinical Experiences
Roseman utilizes a 36-month (3-year) integrated curriculum based on the Six-Point Mastery Learning Model and a team-based clinical education model. Students enter the clinic as early as their first month to begin patient-care transitions.
Clinical Rotations:
- DSO External Rotation Program - A partnership with PDS Health that places students in real-world practice settings in Nevada and other locations.
- Community Outreach Projects (DMD7120) - Student-led service learning projects providing screenings, hygiene, and restorations throughout Utah.
- Back to School Brush-Up™ - Annual community outreach event providing dental services to schoolchildren.
- GENESIS Model - A household-centered care delivery model integrating student learning with community service.
