Research Themes:
Clinical Experiences
The first two years use an integrated curriculum covering anatomical, physiologic, and health systems with pre-clinical practice; the final two years emphasize clinical practice, lectures, and seminars.
Clinical Rotations:
- Mike Petryk School of Dentistry Oral Health Clinic - The primary clinical teaching facility located in the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
- Northern Alberta Satellite Clinics - Mandatory two-week rotations for fourth-year students in McLennan, La Crete, and High Level.
- Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital - Clinical rotation site for specialized patient care.
- University of Alberta Hospital - Clinical rotation site for hospital-based dentistry.
- Shine Dentistry - A student-run clinic providing free dental care to underserved populations in Edmonton.
