Mission Statement
The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine (CUSDM), a collaborative partner on the Anschutz Medical Campus, is a unique learning, clinical care, and research community. The CUSDM is committed to integrated health that innovates, treats, and discovers for the well-being of, and in service to, local communities and beyond.
Combined Degree Programs
- DDS/MPH
Offered in partnership with the Colorado School of Public Health; allows students to earn both degrees simultaneously.
- DDS/MS in Modern Human Anatomy
Part of the MHA Pathway to Dentistry; students complete one year of MS curriculum followed by four years of DDS, graduating with both degrees.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- Educational Observation Program - Offers international dentists the opportunity to observe clinical activities at the school.

Clinical Experiences
The curriculum features early clinical exposure and is heavily integrated with interprofessional education (IPE) and community-based service learning.
Clinical Rotations:
- Advanced Clinical Training and Service (ACTS) Program - A signature 4th-year rotation where students spend approximately 18 weeks (nearly 50% of the year) providing care at 30+ community sites across Colorado.
