Combined Degree Programs
- DMD/PhD
A joint initiative for research leadership; currently not accepting new admissions.
- DMD/Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (BSc Dent)
A concurrent degree option allowing dental students to engage in research over two summer terms during their DMD studies.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- International Dentist Degree Program (IDDP) Track A - A two-year degree completion program for internationally trained dentists entering into the third year of the DMD curriculum.

Clinical Experiences
Integrated clinical training starts in the first year, emphasizing comprehensive patient-centered care and community-based outreach with a focus on Indigenous oral health.
Clinical Rotations:
- Community Outreach Externships - Includes rotations in isolated northern communities, inner-city clinics, and the Siloam Mission.
- Geriatric and Special Needs Rotations - Experiences at Deer Lodge Centre and St. Amant Centre for care of the elderly and mentally disabled.
- ACCESS Dental Clinics - Rotations at downtown and NorWest Co-op community health clinics.
