Mission Statement
The UNLV School of Dental Medicine will be a driving educational force toward improving the health of the citizens of Nevada through innovative programs of oral healthcare services to the community, integrated biomedical, behavioral, clinical curricula, and research.
Combined Degree Programs
- DMD/MBA
A dual Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Master of Business Administration offered in collaboration with the Lee Business School to develop leadership and business skills.
- DMD/MPH
A dual Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Master of Public Health track focused on disease prevention and medical delivery.
- BS-DMD
An accelerated 7-year program in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno, where students complete 3 years of undergraduate study and 4 years of dental school.
- DMD/PhD in Oral Biology
A combined doctoral degree program integrating clinical training with advanced biomedical research.
- DMD/MS in Oral Biology
A combined degree program allowing students to pursue a Master of Science alongside their clinical dental training.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Advanced Standing - A 24-month (6-semester) intensive curriculum for internationally-trained dentists from non-CODA accredited schools to earn U.S. licensure.
