Mission Statement
The mission of The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry is to provide outstanding patient care and dental education to continuously improve the health of Oklahomans and those we serve.
Combined Degree Programs
- DDS/MBA
Offered in partnership with the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business (Price College of Business); allows students to earn a Masters of Business Administration during their dental curriculum.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (ASPID) - A 2.5-year (29-month) program for qualified graduates of international dental programs to earn a DDS degree.
- Bench Test Preparatory Course - A course for international dentists to prepare for the technical procedures and concepts required in U.S. dental school admissions processes.

Clinical Experiences
The DDS curriculum emphasizes early hands-on education, including summer clinical sessions and intensive training in restorative dentistry and implantology within the 112,000 square-foot Dental Clinical Sciences Building.
Clinical Rotations:
- Community-Based Dentistry Education Externship Program - Offers students the opportunity to provide care in various off-site and charitable settings.
- Pediatric Dentistry Rotations - Includes experiences at Oklahoma Children's Hospital, Variety Care (FQHC), and partnerships with the Chickasaw Nation.
- Kids' Dental Day - Annual event providing free cleanings, fillings, and crowns to children, managed by dental students.
