International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- Advanced Placement Program (APP) - A 25-month program for internationally trained dentists consisting of a five-week summer course followed by the third and fourth years of the dental curriculum.
- Professional Studies in Dentistry (Internship) - A non-degree certificate program for dental specialists with a duration ranging from one week to one year.

A four-year bilingual competency-based curriculum where students transition from basic sciences in D1-D2 to discipline-specific rotations in D3 and comprehensive patient care in D4.

- D3 Discipline Rotations - Clinical rotations across various dental specialties to develop foundational skills.
- Extramural Community Rotations - Fourth-year students provide dental services at community-based sites across Puerto Rico.
