Mission Statement
To train oral health professionals to provide high quality oral health care to the people of Saskatchewan, and to advance clinical and scientific knowledge through research.
Combined Degree Programs
- DMD/MBA
A dual-track opportunity offered in partnership with the Edwards School of Business; the first of its kind in Canada. Students complete a one-year MBA before transitioning into the four-year DMD curriculum.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- International Dental Degree Program (IDDP) - A 2-year program designed for graduates of non-accredited international dental programs to earn a Canadian DMD degree. Admits approximately 10 students per year.

Clinical Experiences
The curriculum progresses from basic biomedical and dental sciences in years 1 and 2 to a heavy focus on clinical sciences, specialty topics, and direct patient care in years 3 and 4.
Clinical Rotations:
- Hospital Rosters - Clinical training and experience within a hospital setting during the third year of study.
- Clinical Comprehensive Care - A senior-level course (DENT 586) where students provide patient care in a comprehensive manner, integrating multiple disciplines.
