Mission Statement
The mission of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry is to promote a diverse and dynamic learning environment that addresses the present and future oral health needs of the citizens of West Virginia and beyond by providing an oral health center committed to excellence and innovation in education, research, patient care, service, and technology.
Combined Degree Programs
- DDS/MBA
Offered in collaboration with the John Chambers College of Business and Economics; allows students to earn both degrees in four years by counting credits from the DDS program toward the MBA.
International Student Programs
Other Paths:
- ERASMUS+ orientation - One of only two U.S. dental schools participating in the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, providing cross-national clerkship opportunities.
- Global Engagement - Offers humanitarian missions to countries like Guatemala through partnerships with organizations such as Hands and Hearts Surgical Missions.
